The Ogilvie is a creative review founded by graduates from the University of Edinburgh with the aim of providing an opportunity for like-minded creative people to share their work and their insight, be it through prose, poetry, interviews, critical review, or analysis. We began as an extension of Edinburgh’s vibrant literary scene. As our contributors and audience have grown, we’ve received submissions from writers across the world. Today, The Ogilvie strives to be an active archive of exemplary writing from exemplary writers–regardless of where they live.
Excerpts, short stories, and snap fiction can be found in the Fiction section.
You can find our collection of poetry in the Poetry section.
For discussion, analysis, and works of creative nonfiction, have a look at our Insight section.
