While The Ogilvie could not exist without its contributors and readers, a core team of three people work together to edit and publish each submission.
CALDER HUDSON–CHIEF EDITOR
Raised in Washington DC, Calder moved to Scotland to pursue a Master of Arts at the University of St Andrews and a Master of Science at the University of Edinburgh. Since completing his postgraduate degree, Calder has remained in the Scottish capital while researching and writing stories.
ANGELA HICKS–WORKSHOP MANAGER, ASSISTANT EDITOR
Originally from Warwickshire, Angela studied History in London and Sweden before moving to Scotland for a postgraduate degree in Creative Writing. She now lives and works in Edinburgh and is working on her first novel.
ANGELA CLEM–ONLINE EDITOR, SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR
From Macalester College to the University of Edinburgh, Angela has pursued her passion for the humanities, earning a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science by Research in History. Currently based in St. Paul, Minnesota, Angela works in financial aid and admissions at Macalester.
The Ogilvie owes a debt of gratitude to Oliver Hudson for his invaluable work on the website, and also to Alyson Kissner for providing us with her terrific photograph of Edinburgh from atop Arthur’s Seat. You can follow Alyson on Instagram, @alykissner.
